Meet our Director

Hello Families!!

My name is Jenessa Miller, but the kids call me Ms. Nessa. I have been working at Rosebuds since March of 2018 and have been sending my kiddos since January of 2018. I absolutely love our program and wouldn't want to send my own children anywhere else! I have always loved working with children and have experience leading classrooms of all ages.

I grew up in Prescott, Wisconsin. My husband, John, and I both spent 5+ years in the Army. John and I met while deployed in Iraq. We spent a few years in Colorado before moving back to the Midwest! We live in River Falls, Wisconsin. We have 4 kids (2 of them attend Rosebuds). Emelyn is 7 and in first grade, Ezra is 5 and in 4K, Elden is 1 and in Sprouts, and Eros who is an infant Seedlings!

We have 2 dogs (a beagle Shilah, and a rescue Luna) we also have a cat (Tiger). I spend most of my free time exploring the outdoors and hanging out with my husband and kids. We love going for family walks and spending time making memories together. We also enjoy fishing, traveling, weekend trips, and volunteering at church.

I attended the University of Wisconsin – River Falls and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. I have both a Wisconsin and Minnesota Teaching License. I have been a substitute teacher for various school districts in both Minnesota and Wisconsin. Prior to working at Rosebuds I worked at a local church as the Kids Ministry Leader. Once I started at Rosebuds, I was thrilled to be able to blend my previous two positions together in a church based classroom environment.

I love being the Director because I am able to get to know every family and child in the Center! I love visiting the classrooms and seeing all the kiddos smiling faces!
